You can make this easy Thanksgiving table decor idea in an hour. And, it will definitely be the highlight of the table! Your friends and family will adore this arrangement.
I love decorating in fall colors. This easy centerpiece was a delight to make!
Thanksgiving Table Decor Supplies
Start with a grapevine wreath. I used a medium sized wreath. Purchase three large pumpkins, and three medium to small pumpkins. Next, find some fall florals you love.
I found a fall stem filled with hydrangeas, berries, baby pumpkins, and twigs all on one vine.
This is actually plastic wheat! I love it. I have tried to decorate with real wheat, and it makes a mess and does not store well year after year.
This plastic wheat is the perfect solution. It looks so real!
Every fall centerpiece looks great with some feathers! They add another layer of design and interest. I used three in this arrangement.
How to put your Thanksgiving table decor together.
Step 1
Always start with your largest items first. This arrangement has three large pumpkins, so I started with those first. They are spaced evenly apart on the grapevine wreath.
Step 2
The next item I added was the beautiful hydrangeas. Be sure to nestle them next to the large pumpkins.
When you cut the hydrangeas, leave a little stem. This is where you add extra hot glue, and can easily push the stem into the grapevine.
Step 3
The last step is filling in between the large pumpkins with smaller items. You can use small pumpkins, feathers, wheat, leaves, and small berries.
Allow some of the vines and leaves to flow over the grapevine wreath to look soft and airy.
Finishing Up
Spin your grapevine wreath around to see where you need to fill in the gaps. Look at it from the top and the bottom. I always find that I miss a few spots.
The Finished Project
This is such a lovely table centerpiece for any family get together. Everyone will love it!
