Here are some Halloween table decorations that Alice and Sarah created to share with you. They rummaged through my Halloween boxes, shopped at T.J. Maxx and Hobby Lobby, to come up with the spooky and creepy Halloween table decorations. I’m kinda proud of them! Daughter and daughter-in-law collaborating for the Queen of Halloween!
Here is a bird’s eye view of the table. The girls mixed a bit of Halloween glitter and glam with this table setting.
The Centerpiece of my Halloween Table Decorations
I have to admit, when the girls first pulled this guy out of the T.J. Maxx bag, I wasn’t really sure about him. To be honest, I love Halloween decorations, but I usually steer away from gruesome and frightful decorations. But, he sorta grew on me.
He was placed on a black cake stand, and nestled into a bed of greenish colored moss. You could use a pumpkin for this centerpiece, instead of a skull and it would look great. Whatever you choose to place on the cake stand, when using moss, the trick is to pull some of the moss over the sides of the cake stand.
Perfect Table Runner
Black gauze laying over a colored table cloth is the perfect table runner! Not only is it inexpensive, but the gauze gives a creepy look and feel to the the entire table, and becomes the perfect back drop for the rest of our Halloween decorations.
Yes, and another T.J. Maxx find; these awesome plates. We already had the pewter plates, and they were placed on top of inexpensive black plate chargers from Hobby Lobby.
The plates had four different designs. A napkin was folded under the pewter plate, and the girls used a black boa to “snake” around the centerpiece.
This is my favorite Halloween table decoration on the table! What an awesome Halloween place card holder!
Seriously, this Halloween place card holder is so unique! The glittering black crow actually swings back and forth on his perch. A name card is easily inserted into the top, and guests will feel extra special with this cool place card holder.
To add the glam to this table, two Mercury glass pumpkins next to candlelight did the trick perfectly.
Two vintage Halloween spell books were used on each side of the skull centerpiece. Two identical lanterns were placed on the books. When I am decorating a table for the holidays, I like to have a taller centerpiece and two matching decorations flanking each side of the centerpiece for symmetry.
Molly always has to get into every photo shoot! Do you have a dog that always feels the need to be included?
Good job Alice and Sarah! These Halloween table decorations were very skullfully done! (hee hee)
