I am so excited to share with you a super simple DIY Christmas Wreath! Let’s get started!  First of all- I am really picky about choosing my greenery!  I like for my wreaths to look real.  This wreath is called a Dripping Cedar Wreath– it is extremely full and you cannot tell it is not real!

This wreath design is super simple and the wreath itself is so beautiful we really do not need to add a lot to it! 

I have chosen three little bells with a little bit of cedar on it.  So what we will do next is simply attach them to the wreath with wire! 

How to Make a Bow

The ribbon that will come with your DIY Christmas Wreath is some of my favorite!  So next we are going to make a bow to go on your wreath. It may seem like it’s hard but I promise making a bow is not too difficult at all!

Fall Mantle Decor

Hello!  It is one of my favorite times of the year- Fall!  I am going to show you how to take inexpensive fall garland and customize it to look expensive!  Let’s go through this fall mantle decor step-by-step!  AND, learn how to make a beautiful bow!  Let’s get started!

Spread Out Your Garland! |

First, you want to be sure you spread out your garland.  You want to spread it out as wide as it will go!  When I am putting garland on a mantle, I always put the end of the garland that has the loop in the middle and the pretty ends on the outside.  Next, I secure the garland. I take some floral wire and I wire it around the garland, and then around the nail.

The next thing I am going to do is add some Christmas lights to the garland.  I think adding lights makes it SO homey!  

TIP:  When I am adding lights to a garland, I will add a little bit to one side, and I’ll stop, walk over to the other side and go ahead and add the lights on that side as well.  That way I know how much I have to weave into the garland!

Next is the fun part- customizing the garland!  I chose a burgundy boxwood that I thought would contrast into the garland really well!  I snipped small pieces and tucked it in and I also wired it them onto the garland.  Then, I added cotton to the garland.  I purchased the cotton on Amazon- check it out here! 

TIP:  When customizing your garland, always be sure to have something that is light in color, medium, and dark!  

Make a Bow

Finally- time to add the bow!  I actually found this gorgeous grey and white ribbon on Amazon!  It’s wired so it will keep its shape year after year!  I have linked it here for you!

In this post, I am going to share with you some of my Top Amazon Favorites!  I have a few Amazon must-haves, Amazon home decor items, as well as a really cool inexpensive way to transform your kitchen or bathroom. I am also sharing with you a few beauty products that I use and love!  Take a look below!

First, I want to show you a few home decor items to warm up any space!  I added a textured soft throw to the chair.  Next, I added a really cute pillow.  I like to have texture in a design so this pillow is perfect!

Peel and Stick Tile

This is one of my favorite budget friendly DIY projects!  I actually first found it when touring a luxury home.  I noticed the beautiful subway tile in the mudroom and it was not until I touched it that I realized it was Peel and Stick!  We used it in Kayla’s kitchen and it turned out amazing!

Laundry "Life Changing" Detergent!

This is one of my absolute Top Amazon Favorites!  I first found this laundry detergent when I was at a client’s house.  We entered her bedroom and I could immediately smell this divine smell!  I asked her what it was and she said it was her laundry soap that she washes her towels and blankets with! I immediately purchased and absolutely love it!  The scent not only lasts but is beautiful and fills an entire room.  It is at the top of my list!

Easy Flower Arrangement

For my next Top Amazon Favorite– I found this beautiful mercury glass vase.  I love to use mercury glass in a lot of designs because not only does it add a little bit of bling, but it is also a reflective item and lights up a room!

I love these Cherry Blossoms!  They come in a pack of four and are just beautiful.  I clipped them, spread the branches out a little bit and then placed them inside the mercury glass vase.  This is a gorgeous arrangement that would be perfect for a dining room, kitchen, or a guest bedroom!

One of the most important things in creating a cozy home is how it smells!  The holidays are right around the corner and I want to share with you my top two favorite candles!  We sell these in our store and we keep them burning all season long!  

The first one I want to share is called Simmered Cider.  It has a gorgeous, warm, soothing smell.  Fills an entire room with a lovely scent. 

My second very favorite is called Frasier Fir.  I have a lot of greenery in my house that looks very real, it’s not, but when I  burn the pine candle and have guests over, they wonder if my pine is real!  It smells AMAZING!

My Favorite Beauty Products

My next Top Amazon Favorites are my beauty products!  I get a lot of questions about my eyelashes, lipstick, and lip liner. 

For my eyelashes, I use  Rodan + Fields Lash Boost!  It is expensive, however, it lasts a long time!  I have had mine for about 7 months and still have plenty.  It is a liquid you apply along your lash line and I can honestly say I have noticed tremendous growth and thickness in my lashes!  

Next, I want to share my lipstick routine!

First, I start with my lipliner-  Maybelline Sensational Lip Liner- Gone Griege. 

Then, I use CoverGirl Fawn.  This is a matte lipstick that stays on very well and the color is just beautiful!

Lastly, I put on Mac Lip Glass- Cultured – this is not your typical lipgloss!  It stays on for a very long time- I absolutely love this stuff!

Top Sherwin Williams Paint

Learning how to choose paint colors can be difficult and so frustrating!  Today, I am sharing with you my Top Sherwin Williams paint colors!  Whether you are looking for the perfect white color for trim or a soothing color for a bedroom, I’m going to share with you several tried and true paint colors!

Sea Salt | Top Sherwin Williams Paint

The first color I want to share with you is called Sea Salt by Sherwin Williams.  It is a very light green/blue/gray and it is absolutely beautiful!  I am sharing this photo from Stephanie @BuildingOurHumbleHome.  I think her living room is just stunning!  It has a BEAUTIFUL coastal vibe and is one of my favorite happy colors!  I think Sea Salt would also be perfect in a bathroom or laundry room.  Click the photo below to check out more from Stephanie!

Kypton | Top Sherwin Williams Paint

Repose Gray

This next gray is absolutely gorgeous and one of my favorite Top Sherwin Williams paint colors!  It’s Repose Gray and is just gorgeous in Jenna’s home.  She used this color in her kitchen and in her living room!  Just stunning!  Check out more of her lovely home at Jenna Kate at Home.

Mindful Gray

Next, is another one of my Top Sherwin Williams paint colors– Mindful Gray!  Here is a photo of it on the outside of a home.  This is Amanda from Life Among the Cedars.  The Mindful Gray just looks SO warm and inviting!

Nebulus White

If you are looking for a super light gray color, check out Nebulous White!  Take a look at this gorgeous space!  This is from Space Lift Staging and Redesign and they used it on the board and batten.  My goodness, I just thought this room was beautiful!

Take a look at Nebulous White on these cabinets!  This design is from Musso Design Group.  What a clean, happy room!

Natural Tan | Top Sherwin Williams Paint Color

Next, I wanted to share my favorite neutral Top Sherwin Williams paint color- Natural Tan.  Cole @ColeWorlld used this color her living room.  She loved this color because she did not have a lot of light in the room and this color did make her room look dark at all!  Take a peek at more of Cole’s beautiful home here!

Tricorn Black

This is another gorgeous photo from Amanda @LifeAmongTheCedars!   She painted her front door Tricorn Black and I think it turned out just stunning!

Iron Ore

Don’t get intimidated by dark paint colors.  It will be amazing how even if you just use it on an accent wall- it really will make the room very rich!  Take a look at this photo.  This is Kate from Little House of Four.  She used it in a bedroom and I thought it was lovely!
